What do you like about living in the Pacific Northwest?

After living throughout the United States while I was in the military, the PNW is special to me because of its diverse ecosystems and the recreational opportunities they provide. I especially enjoy identifying plants and finding reptiles and amphibians while hiking.

Why do you work here?

Snohomish Conservation District embodies all the aspects of intersecting fields that I think are critical towards making a positive environmental impact. Habitat restoration often intersects with agriculture, along with overall conservation of natural resources. Participating in this type of work makes me feel good about coming to the office each day.

Bonus fact!

  • I am a birder! I love watching birds and identifying them by their calls.
