Come learn how to set up your own little backyard haven from Jennifer Carlson of Haven Illustrated. Jennifer teaches lots of great classes for Seattle Tilth, local community colleges and the utility districts.
Classes include:
Organic Gardening
Site Assessment
Soil Building
City Chickens
Pet Waste Perils
Also, participants will see a demonstration on how to make a rainbarrel from scratch.
Photos of Jennifer's small urban yard in Seattle will highlight her rainwater recapture technique, her made- from-scratch chicken coops, her compost fence and more!
Adopt-A-Stream will be on hand as well to answer questions on protecting your backyard stream or creek.
